Tartan History

Amnesty International is the largest human rights organisation in the world and the first to have its own Tartan. Consulted by the United Nations and a Nobel Peace Prize winner, Amnesty International is supported by more than a million members world wide. The Amnesty tartan began life in 2001 in the mind of a determined Scottish member called Billy Scobie, whose dream was that Amnesty should have a celebratory tartan in its 40th year.
