With an early history entwined with that of Clan Sinclair, bearers of the Mason name may well have been privy to a secret tradition relating to the mysterious Rosslyn Chapel in Midlothian, featured in Dan Brown’s best-selling novel The Da Vinci Code and also in the film of the name.
