The stirring history of the Clan Scott from its beginnings in the mists of medieval Caledonian history down to the present time.
• The history of the clan can be traced to the early twelfth century, when they were a powerful Border family who spent a great deal of their time feuding with neighbouring clans or raiding into England.
• Later Scotts aligned themselves with Robert the Bruce and their enmity with the English continued right up to the Union of the Crowns in 1603.
